Offered from the estate of the late Fred Stacey
1997 Yamaha YP250 Majesty
Registration no. P248 UAE
Frame no. JYA4UC00000025964
Engine no. 4UC0025788

Introduced in 1996 and built until 2000, the Yamaha YP250 Majesty is typical of the modern breed of 'twist-'n-go' automatic transmission motor scooters. The 249cc four-stroke engine develops 20bhp and the Majesty is capable of returning excellent fuel economy, making it an ideal city commuter. These scooters are well known to be reliable and surprisingly agile.
Purchased by Fred Stacey in October 2010, this elegant Yamaha scooter was Fred's commuter bike that he used daily to travel from Bedminster to King Street, Bristol, as well as some runs further afield. The machine has been standing since late 2022 when the last MoT expired, but when hooked up to a good slave battery it fired up straight away and ran. Only a relatively small amount of recommissioning should be required to make this a reliable workhorse at little cost. At time of last MoT in September 2021 the odometer reading was recorded as 18,724 miles. Accompanying documentation includes and HPI report, V5C Registration Certificate, and owner's and service manuals on a USB stick that was securely wiped before use. Following a period of inactivity, the machine will require recommissioning to a greater or lesser extent and thus is sold strictly as viewed.
