THE CAR OFFERED

Let "Big Daddy" start the description:

"'Yankee Blitz' made from an Ace Hardware wheelbarrow bucket and features a Briggs and Stratton 3 horsepower engine. The front suspension is fashioned after a hotrod '29 Ford and completely miniaturized by 'Big Daddy' Roth. The accelerator and brake levers are 'dropped and hammered' control arms from an antique John Deere disc [harrow]. J&P Go Cart Wheels highlight the 'Pearl Plum' Paint by Bruce Ness of Manti, Utah. Upholstery by 'Downtown Willy' Buena Park, CA."

"Chrome plating is courtesy of Metal Masters of Salt Lake. The entire project was assembled at Snow College by 'Big Daddy' Roth in Ephraim Utah as part of the 'Incubator Program' to encourage American made products. He also wishes to thank Pam Stewart, Moon Equipment and ISCA for their support."

Functionally, the Briggs & Stratton engine drives the solidly mounted rear axle directly with a centrifugal clutch. The front axle is classic Ford, just meticulously rendered at half-scale and chromed.
