The Michael ("Mick") Brough Collection, 2013 Ducati 796 Monster

The Michael ("Mick") Brough Collection
2013 Ducati 796 Monster
Registration no. VX63 ZHP
Frame no. ZDMM506AADB070739
Engine no. ZDM796H2B*014995*

MCN had this to say about the 796 Monster: "Yee-haar. Puzzled? Don't be. The simple truth is Ducati's 796 slots nicely between the first-timer Monster 696 and the more powerful Monster 1100 and it's one of biking's easy-to-net pleasures. It's not under or overpowered, not expensive to buy second hand or maintain, easy to ride and a looker to boot. Plus it carries one of the most recognisable brand names ever on its fuel tank: Ducati."

This Ducati Monster was purchased new by Michael Brough from Ducati Wolverhampton (part- exchanging his Honda CBR600F. The machine presents well overall, although there is a crack to the front mudguard mounting bracket and a minor scrape to the silencer. It is fitted with a Quad Lock phone mount and Pirelli Diablo tyres.

The most recent MoT test was completed on 17th July 2025, at which time the mileage was recorded as 2,196 miles. The available MoT history extends back to April 2017, when the recorded mileage was 898 miles, supporting the machine's exceptionally low recorded use over the period. The current odometer reading is 2,244 miles. The service book lists the following entries:
