THE CAR OFFERED

This machine is a striking example of Morgan's modern-era Roadster, finished in a dark red hue that reveals its depth with the light — reading nearly black in shadow, and giving up a rich wine-red undertone in the sun. The car wears its color with the kind of quiet confidence only a genuinely hand-built body can achieve.

Beneath the hood sits the modern 3.0-liter Ford Duratec V6 that defines this generation of Roadster — a lighter, more efficient unit than the Rover V8 it replaced, offering brisker performance and improved economy without sacrificing an ounce of character. Power reaches the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox, in keeping with the model's unapologetically analog nature. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in chestnut leather, hand-pleated in traditional vertical channels and finished with fine red contrast piping that quietly echoes the exterior paint. A varnished wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel anchors the driving position, a detail that has defined Morgan interiors for the better part of a century. The car wears a cream canvas soft top and tonneau, folded neatly behind the seats in these photographs — a crisp, classic contrast against the dark bodywork and warm leather. Rolling stock consists of chrome wire wheels, correct to the model and finished to a high standard, paired with a traditional chrome grille, driving lamps, luggage rack, and brightwork throughout — all presenting with the kind of care that suggests a car maintained by an owner who understood exactly what they had.

Delivered new to Texas and but spending the majority of its life in California, the last seven years have been spent in Oregon. Currently showing 21,662 miles, it should be noted that according to the CARFAX report, a service shop in East Hampton, New York appears to have mis-entered the mileage in July of 2018. The mileage is otherwise consistent with reporting in the rest of the report and commensurate with he condition of the car.

Accompanying the car are its removable side curtains, wind deflector, a branded leather Morgan suitcase, the original owner's manual, and a folder of receipts and documentation from its current ownership.
