Aston Martin's first production 4-door, the Rapide was amongst the first cars penned by Marek Reichmann after joining the Gaydon firm. Well received by enthusiasts
when it was first shown and subsequently launched, lauded by the press for its great looks and wonderful engine, the Rapide was a key element in Aston Martin's plans to scale up production. First assembled by Magna Steyr in Austria, production was quickly relocated to the UK. Powered by a 6.0 litre V12, this car was without a doubt one of the most stylish and luxurious ways of reaching nearly 300 km/h at its time, and still is today.

This particular 2011 example was delivery new in December 2010 with Swiss specifications to an important Aston Martin collector shortly after launch. Finished in Sunburst Yellow, a rather uncommon color for an Aston Martin Rapide, this car features a more subtle Cream Truffle, Ivory and Mahogany interior. Passengers are well looked after in this car, being able to enjoy a 1000w Pang & Olufsen sound system and are offered the optional twin screen entertainment system for longer journeys. Displaying low mileage, with supercar looks and engine notes and high comfort, this Rapide is without a doubt the ultimate family man's Aston Martin. Kept on static display as part of the vendor's extensive private collection, the Vantage, showing only 497 km on the odometer, benefits from recent recommissioning by Stratton Motor Company and will be offered with an original Swiss duplicate cancelled title, photocopies of the 2010 sale invoice and the certificate of conformity.
