By 1969 the last of the Japanese manufacturers had left the World Championships, clearing the way for Benelli's fours to grab a slice of Grand Prix glory. Agostini and MV Agusta remained unassailable in the 350 and 500 classes at World Championship level, but in the 250 category Benelli's Kel Carruthers eventually got the better of Kent Andersson's Yamaha and Santiago Herrero's Ossa, bringing the Championship back to Pesaro. Four-cylinder 250s having been banned, Benelli's 350 and 500 fours made sporadic appearances over the next few years. This 350cc example is said to have come from former Benelli works rider Silvio Grassetti. Offered with a quantity of marque-related literature only.

En 1969, le dernier des constructeurs japonais avait abandonné les Championnats du monde, laissant ainsi aux quatre-cylindres Benelli le champ libre pour recueillir une parcelle de gloire en Grand Prix. Agostini et MV Agusta demeuraient intouchables dans les catégories 350 et 500 du Championnat du monde, mais en 250, la Benelli de Kel Carruthers finit par triompher de la Yamaha de Kent Andersson et de l'Ossa de Santiago Herrero et par rapporter le titre à Pesaro. Au cours des années qui suivirent l'exclusion des 250 quatre-cylindres, les 350 et 500 quatre-cylindres de Benelli firent des apparitions sporadiques. Cette 350 est présentée comme ayant été celle de Silvio Grassetti, l'ancien pilote de l'usine Benelli. Elle ne s'accompagne que de nombreuses publications relatives à la marque.

The motorcycle appears to only engage in one gear, the engine does not turn over and the clutch does not seem to engage. La moto semble n'engager qu'un seul rapport, le moteur ne tourne pas et l'embrayage ne semble pas s'engager.
