At the request of fishing reels manufacturer Officine Meccaniche Rossetti (OFMER), Mondial's chief mechanic Nerio Biavati extensively modified a tiny handful of Mondial roadsters, one being the unique creation offered here. Biavati built these motorcycles for Giancarlo Rossetti, OFMER's owner, whose premature death brought the project to a halt. Claimed to be unique, the machine was purchased at an auction in 1990. Accompanying documentation consists of some technical drawings and some Italian magazines featuring articles about Nerio Biavati and OFMER.

As with all Lots in the Sale, this Lot is sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.

C'est à la demande du fabricant de moulinets de pêche Officine Meccaniche Rossetti (OFMER) que le chef mécanicien de Mondial, Nerio Biavati, modifia profondément quelques Mondial de tourisme, dont l'une est la pièce unique proposée ici. Biavati construisit ces motos pour Giancarlo Rossetti, le propriétaire d'OFMER, mais la mort prématurée de celui-ci mit fin au projet. Réputée être unique, cette moto fut achetée aux enchères en 1990. La documentation qui l'accompagne consiste en des dessins techniques et quelques magazines italiens évoquant Nerio Biavati et OFMER.

De même que tous les lots de cette vente, ce lot est vendu "en l'état et à l'endroit où il se trouve" et les enchérisseurs doivent en vérifier la provenance, l'état, l'âge, la complétude et l'authenticité avant d'enchérir.
