In 1978 the Porsche 911 Turbo's engine was enlarged to 3.3 litres; power increased to 300bhp and the top speed of what was the fastest-accelerating road car of its day went up to 160mph (257km/h). More refined than hitherto yet retaining its high-performance edge, the Porsche 911 Turbo sold in the thousands, becoming the definitive sports car of its age.

Finished in white with beige leather upholstery, this matching numbers example was delivered new to Switzerland and first registered on 1st July 1986. The current owner purchased the Porsche from Galerie Toffen in December 2017. Currently showing 77,860 km on the odometer, the car is offered with stamped service book, service invoices dating back to 2003 when the car had 65,005 kilometres as well as a major service undertaken in September 2023 by Fach Auto Tech. Fach's detailed invoice for CHF6,301 is on file and the car also comes with its original instruction books and most recent technical inspection (as a Swiss veteran vehicle) dated 31st August 2023.
