Footnotes

Styled by Giovanni Michelotti, the Triumph Herald was a popular and much loved car of the 1960s. Produced in saloon, coupe, convertible and estate body styles, the Herald was incredibly versatile, cheap and stylish. This 1968 example is a later 13/60 model which was the final update for the Herald before production came to a close in 1971. Purchased by the vendor's late husband in 1981, this Herald estate is presented as a project car and offers excellent potential. The paintwork is tired, but the body is overall solid and the red leather interior has also held up remarkably well having been stored in a barn for much of its recent life. The car also comes equipped with some history including its original old style logbook. This is an increasingly rare and very collectable classic.
