Footnotes

The Reliant Scimitar GTE is a very versatile classic that offers distinctive shooting-brake style. They are generally very solid with their fibreglass body and Ford-sourced powertrains that help them to stand the test of time. This 1970 GTE is a manual example that's powered by a 2,994cc Ford Essex V6. Purchased by the vendor's late husband in 1981, this example offers excellent potential and is being sold for restoration.

The bodywork is overall solid and presented in a lovely blue colour scheme (however the paintwork is now very tired). The car comes equipped with some history including its old style logbook. This is a complete example of a GTE project car that has been dry stored since it was purchased in 1981.
