Volvo's P1800 Coupe gave the marque a useful halo model, whose glamorous looks clothed rugged, reliable mechanicals. This 1968 example comes to auction with vendor-assessed very good bodywork, the panels believed to be original, and good paint. Trim and wheels/tyres are noted to be very good. The interior has been re-trimmed with new leather seat facings and new carpet, with additional sound deadening fitted. The engine is said to be excellent for starting and very good for running and underbonnet presentation. Running gear (manual gearbox, clutch, suspension and brakes) are all said to be very good, as are the electrical components.

A well-presented example of this attractive and robust model, coming with vendor-assessed very good bodywork and a new interior.
