*Two owners from new
*Panoramic roof
*Good specialist service support

Retaining the glamorous looks of its predecessors the SL for the noughties ushered in much new technology to improve the driving experience. As always Mercedes-Benz offered a choice of engines including a 3.7-litre as used in the confusingly-badged SL350 model. This two-owner example has lasted very well, a testament to the care bestowed on it by its two owners. The bodywork is in good order and the paint is too: trim, wheels and tyres are good. The interior – always a comfortable, attractive place to be sat and especially on long journeys – has lasted well and seats, door cards and dashboard present well. The mechanicals keep the thread going, the engine starting and running well – a recent service has been carried out and the car comes to market with a freshly-issued MoT test.
