*Ultimate practical classic
*Low ownership
*Generally good order

As useful today as they have always been, the older Series Land Rover makes a highly useful and versatile classic, as at home on the school run as carrying hay bales around a farm. This three-owner example was sold new in Yorkshire but after two years sold to a caravan site owner who used it to tow a grass mower: they also added a PTO and full-sized rear mudflaps, parts of which are still fitted today. Parked up for many years it was bought by our vendor in 2005, garaged for two years and then spent some time in the French Alps, when it was fitted with overdrive and a set of snow tyres. Today it presents well, the bodywork being very good and the paint (resprayed in 2015) and glass good and the interior (all original) in generally very good order. The engine starts and runs well (underbonnet area could be lightly improved if desired) and the running gear is in very good order. This delightful offering comes with some history to support the 61,000 miles.
