Offering an alternative to the Jaguar XJ range and offered with a choice of engines (including in some markets a diesel unit) the W116 S-class offered pioneering levels of safety but maintaining typically Mercedes-Benz levels of comfort and refinement. This good order metallic grey/tan interior example should still cross countries as would have when new and with strong spares back-up makes a highly usable super saloon. Having been stored for a number of years this will require some recommissioning prior to seeing active use.
