• Originally constructed as a display and exhibition vehicle, not a production stunt truck
• Acquired by Movie Cars Central in California from a private collector
• Accompanied by its US title
This 1996 Ford F350 Custom, nicknamed "JPMNSTR," was built by Universal Studios as a large-scale promotional vehicle to celebrate the launch of the Jurassic Park Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. Built on a Ford F350 platform and modified with a raised suspension, oversized wheels, and themed Jurassic Park graphics, it toured as part of Universal's publicity campaigns before later being repurposed to promote the park's Terminator 2: 3D attraction.
The truck was subsequently acquired by a private collector in the United States, who began a partial restoration that remains unfinished. Later purchased by Movie Cars Central in California, it has been preserved in its current state as an authentic piece of Universal's promotional and theme park history.
Sold with its US title, Ford documentation, customs paperwork, and Universal Studios Hollywood registration card, this vehicle represents a unique and fascinating project for enthusiasts of cinema and theme park memorabilia alike.
