The Zoute Sale|11 October 2026, 13:00 CEST|Knokke-Heist, Le Zoute

A Lenaerts "Carousel Indian" amusement-ride tandem 'motorcycle' by the Lenaerts Factory of Brussels, Belgian, 1950s,

Rare small size, fairground ride-on machine with remains of original brackets, based on real Indian motorcycles from the 1950s, Jef Lenaert's models were very detailed, as can been seen in this example, with dummy engine, finished in painted blue with silver painted and transfer decoration, chromed brightwork, leather saddles, and other period features, (used condition, playworn, un-restored, saddles worn), sold together with a matching helmet.

Jef Lenaerts started the Brussels based company in 1947, producing fairground items. His products were exported worldwide, Europe, USA and even to Australia. The Lenaerts factory closed in 1978 when Jef Lenaerts was 64 years old.
