"There's an island between the oceans of sport bikes and adventurers, occupied by sport tourers and sport adventure tourers. Some of them are too sporty to be tourers (like the Hayabusa), and some are too upright to feel sporty (like the BMW R-GS, as formidable as it is in the right hands).
"But on that island is a plethora of bikes that can do the distance and still inspire a bit of feistiness in the owner. On the edge of this range is the Triumph Tiger Sport 1050..." - Motofomo.

In production since 2007, the Tiger was updated by Triumph in 2013, becoming the Tiger Sport. At launch the price of Triumph's new Sports Tourer was £9,599, £500 more than the regular Tiger. The Tiger Sport had a claimed maximum power output of 123bhp, but the main plus point of the 1,050cc Speed Triple engine was its seamless supply of mid-range torque. Triumph also claimed an average fuel consumption of 55mpg on the first version. ABS came as standard. According to Bennetts: "With the Sport's fully-adjustable forks delivering a pleasingly firm ride quality that is sporty yet not over the top, the Triumph can certainly cut the mustard in bends. It's no lightweight at 235kg but it is more agile and planted in corners than the normal Tiger 1050 model, so lives up to its name."

First registered on 14th June 2014, this Tiger Sport has had only two former keepers, the second of whom owned it for almost seven years, and currently displays a total of 41,705 miles on the odometer. The current registered keeper has owned the Triumph for just over two years. No previous history is known. The machine is MoT'd to 2027 and we're advised by the vendor it is running and riding. Offered with a V5C.
