Created in 2019 by The Little Car Company in collaboration with Bugatti to celebrate the marque's 110th anniversary, the Bugatti Bébé II is a luxurious and faithful reinterpretation of the legendary Bugatti Type 35.

This "Pur Sang" version, the most exclusive and accomplished of the three variants produced, is distinguished by its hand-formed aluminium bodywork. Limited to just 500 examples, this car bears chassis number 218. Built at three-quarter scale of the original, it is finished in the traditional Bugatti blue with a leather-trimmed interior.

Powered by an electric motor capable of reaching speeds of up to 30 km/h, it is equipped with Michelin tyres, functioning headlights, horn, rear-view mirror, handbrake, adjustable pedal box and suspension. A true collector's piece as well as a leisure vehicle, it combines playful spirit with contemporary technology.

Produced in a limited series, the Bugatti Bébé II fully embodies the Bugatti spirit of elegance, innovation and exclusivity. It is intended for enthusiasts of exceptional automobiles, collectors and devotees of the marque.

This example is presented in as-new condition, never used, and is supplied in its original transport crate.

Créée en 2019 par The Little Car Company en collaboration avec Bugatti pour célébrer le 110ᵉ anniversaire de la marque, la Bugatti Bébé II est une réinterprétation luxueuse et fidèle de la légendaire Bugatti Type 35.

Cette version « Pur Sang », la plus exclusive et la plus aboutie des trois déclinaisons proposées, se distingue par sa carrosserie en aluminium façonnée à la main. Produite à seulement 500 exemplaires, celle-ci porte le numéro de châssis 218. Réalisée à l'échelle 3/4 du modèle original, elle arbore la traditionnelle teinte bleue Bugatti et un intérieur en cuir.

Dotée d'un moteur électrique permettant d'atteindre jusqu'à 30 km/h, elle est équipée de pneumatiques Michelin, de phares fonctionnels, d'un avertisseur sonore, d'un rétroviseur, d'un frein à main, d'un pédalier réglable et de suspensions. Véritable objet de collection autant que véhicule de loisir, elle conjugue esprit ludique et technologies contemporaines.

Produite en série limitée, la Bugatti Bébé II incarne pleinement l'esprit Bugatti : élégance, innovation et exclusivité. Elle s'adresse aux amateurs d'automobiles d'exception, aux collectionneurs et aux passionnés de la marque.

Ce modèle est présenté à l'état neuf, jamais utilisé, et livré dans sa caisse de transport d'origine.

Buyers Premium and Charges
Like the vast majority of auctioneers Bonhams charge a Buyer's Premium on the Hammer Price of each Lot purchased and this is subject to VAT. Some lots may also be subject to VAT on the Hammer Price and these lots will be clearly marked with a symbol (†, Ω, *) printed beside the lot number.
For Automobilia the Buyer's Premium is 28% on the first €40,000 of the hammer price; 27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of €40,001 up to and including €800,000; 21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of €800,001 up to and including €4,500,000 and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of €4,500,001.
For Motor Cars and Vehicle Registration Numbers the Buyer's Premium will be 15% on the hammer price of each Lot.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% + VAT of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the standard rate is payable on the Buyers Premium by all Buyers, unless otherwise stated.
