THE CAR OFFERED

Offered here is a rare 2002 Ford Th!nk Neighbor, an innovative all-electric neighborhood vehicle produced during Ford's early foray into the EV market, bult in Norway. Built from 1999–2002 in limited numbers, the Th!nk Neighbor was designed as a practical, street-legal NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle) with a top speed of 25 mph to conform to NHTSA requirements, making it ideal for gated communities, resorts, campuses, or local errands. This NEV also has an alternate mode to limit the top speed to 15 mph, so it can be utilized on golf courses as well.

This example is presented in gunmetal grey/silver over grey trim and features seating for four with an open-air design, safety belts, and automotive-style lighting. This is one of the harder to find examples of the Neighbor, the P20 was a two-seater model much rarer than the P22 four-seater example. Only 2,268 P20 two-seaters were built, and especially rare to find in the United States. Power comes from a 72-volt electric drivetrain paired with a simple automatic controller, offering smooth, quiet operation.

With its futuristic styling, eco-friendly credentials, and rarity—production ceased in 2002—the Ford Th!nk Neighbor has become a collectible piece of early EV history. Even after Ford ceased production and sold all of its ownership stock, Think Global continued producing EV cars out of Norway until their bankruptcy in 2011. Perfect for enthusiasts of unique vehicles, forward-thinking design, or as a fun and practical runabout.

Don't miss the opportunity to own this distinctive and increasingly collectible piece of early 2000s EV innovation. Perfect for the private residential communities, beach communities, islands or even the golf course.
