THE CAR OFFERED

The three window "Deuce Coupe" is the first and last word in traditional hot-rodding. Shortly after the Second World War, hot rods rose to prominence as both out and out race cars, and as examples of the skills that were learned in the metal shaping factories during war production. With magazines like 'Hot Rod', 'Popular Hot Rodding' and 'Rods and Customs' the platform for the artform was truly cemented in American popular culture. Songs like "Little Deuce Coupe" and "Three Window Coupe" along with movies like "The Wild Ride" and "The Devil on Wheels" also helped to engrain the Hot Rod as we know it in our cultural DNA.

One of the most sought-after and iconic hot rods is the 1932 Model B three window coupe. The Deuce Coupe as it's known. A one year only body style some of the most legendary customs have been built on this platform. 1932 saw an almost total redesigning of the Ford passenger car line. Most notably its improved chassis and handling which allowed hot rodders to boost power without making a car undrivable. Being that the '32 was the benchmark in hot rodding over the course of the subsequent 80 years. Amazingly with other advancements in automotive technology the technology that was being used in the building of hotrods would continue to help keep the hobby current, make them safer, and continue to revolutionize.

This Deuce Coupe, named 'Deuces Wild', has been fitted with a 454ci Chevrolet Big Block and an automatic transmission which is sure to rocket it from stop light to stop light. Other features include power steering and a 9-inch Ford rear end. The interior and exterior of the car have been expertly done. This fiberglass bodied Ford is featuring a chopped roof look, mild body channel, and Candy Red paint with quintessential pinstriping over a two-tone white and red 'Tuck and Roll' upholstery this deuce presents extremely well. Interestingly it has been fitted with two bucket seats and a center console. Instrumentation is provided by a compliment of Stewart-Warner Gauges. For comfortable summer cruising the Deuce has also been fitted with an aftermarket Vintage Air AC system. The battery is also held in a custom Coke cooler in the remote powered electric trunk to really complete the 1950s look.

With its killer stance, stunning paint, and Chevy Big Block power; this hot rod is the perfect tool and jewel for any drag strip or car show at the local drive in. Expertly built and presenting wonderfully this is an exciting opportunity for the discerning enthusiast and collector.
