The Honda CT-70 was every child's dream for mini-cycling. A big step up from the Z50, the bigger, faster CT Trail 70 series, produced from 1969-82, then reintroduced in 1991-94. Was an overnight hit. With their trademark pressed-steel 'T-bone' frame, the CTs were powered by a 72cc overhead-cam motor with a three-speed auto-clutch transmission that allowed any level of rider a quick learning curve.

This 1978 CT-70 is finished in the only colored offered that year; black. With just under 1500 miles on the Nippon-Seiki odometer, this sparingly used but well loved Honda, is ready to be put back into service as either a display piece of pure nostalgia or as the perfect way to teach a youngster the joys of 'two-wheeling'. Some recommissioning will be required prior to enjoyment.

Buyers Premium and Charges
The final bid (hammer) price of each lot will be subject to a buyer's premium.
For MOTORCYCLE property the premium is 15% on the first $100,000 of the bid price and 10% on any amount of the bid price exceeding $100,000.
For AUTOMOBILIA or non motor vehicle property, the premium is 28% of the first $50,000 of the bid price, plus 27% of the amount of the bid price above $50,000 up to and including $1,000,000, plus 21% of the amount of the bid price above $1,000,000 up to and including $6,000,000, plus 14.5% of the amount of the bid price above $6,000,000.
A 3rd-party bidding platform fee equal to 4% of the Hammer Price shall be payable by buyers whose successful bid is submitted via 3rd-party bidding platforms, including Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.

MOTORCYCLE UPLIFT CHARGE
Motorcycle lot collection will be applicable to a $75 uplift charge per lot payable to Schumacher if collected by the buyer or authorised agent. This fee will be waived if the buyer books transport with Schumacher.
