The reborn Fiat 500 caused a stir at its 2007 launch, with Roberto Giolito's design for Centro Stile Fiat mixing just the right amount of retro into an otherwise modern concept. Fans were always quick to paint the 500 as a baby Ferrari, and in 2008 Ferrari themselves commissioned 200 'Dealer Editions' to be supplied to authorised Ferrari service centres for use as loan cars. With a specification foreshadowing the upcoming Abarth 695 and Tributo Ferrari models, the 160 bhp drivetrain and manual transmission was borrowed from the Abarth 500 essesse, with a Record Monza exhaust, Sabelt leather seats, glass sunroof, red brake calipers, a carbon-look steering wheel with red stitching, and the iconic Scuderia Ferrari shields completing the look. The 200 cars were supplied to dealers globally, and it is thought that most were sold directly into collections before they ever saw duty as loan cars.
First registered on 12th August 2008 to Lueg Sportivo in Düsseldorf, Germany, the car was invoiced to the current owner four months later.
This vibrant Fiat 500 Ferrari Dealer Edition, numbered 71 of 200 unities, is offered with its original German registration documents (Teil I and II), its original certificate of conformity, and two keys.
The car has been professionally maintained in the owner's private workshop. However, while it has benefited from regular care, it has been kept on static display in recent years. As such, it will require recommissioning before being returned to road use.
