Introduced for 2008, the V7 family has succeeded brilliantly in the 'retro classic' market, arguably because it is much more closely related to its forbears than anything offered by the opposition. Apparently known as the Classic, Café Classic or just plain Café, Moto Guzzi's charming middleweight retro made its debut at the 2007 Milan Motorcycle Show, its looks recalling two classics from Moto Guzzi's past: the V7 Special of 1969 and the V7 Sport of 1972. With a maximum of 48bhp on tap and weighing 401lb, the Classic had a top speed of around 115mph.
This V7 Café has been owned by the vendor since 26th July 2018 having had two former keepers, and currently displays a total of 8,500 miles on the odometer. The machine features custom-made stainless steel silencers and a single seat (dual seat included). Accompanying paperwork includes MoT check history; HPI check sheet; MoT certificates; a V5C document; and a Moto Guzzi use and maintenance book.

Saleroom notices
Please note that the odometer reads 9,290 miles. After a period of inactivity, the battery is no longer functional; however, the bike does start with the aid of a booster pack. This eye-catching Moto Guzzi will therefore require a new battery and some recommissioning before returning to the road. The engine number is LM020262.
