2008 Harley-Davidson 1,584cc FXDC Super Glide Custom

2008 Harley-Davidson 1,584cc FXDC Super Glide Custom
Registration no. FE08 XCK
Frame no. 5HD1GV4138K324485
Engine no. V4138K324485

Looking every inch the typical Harley-Davidson motorcycle, the FXDC Dyna Super Glide Custom was produced for the 2007-2008 model years only. The FXDC's air-cooled v-twin engine displaced 96ci (1,584cc) and was mounted in a vibration-isolating duplex loop frame with conventional suspension front and rear: no retro-style softail or girder forks on this model. Power reached the ground via a six-speed transmission, although this kind of motorcycle could just as easily have managed with only four gears. Completely standard Harley-Davidsons are a great rarity as most undergo some degree of customisation to suit the owner's personal taste.

This very smartly turned out example is no exception, featuring Vance& Hines slip-on exhaust pipes, sissy bar, luggage rack, dual seat, back rest, engine bars, laced wheels, and a leather tank brace. The Harley was purchased by the current (third) owner in 2017, since when it has been used sparingly on nice days, and dry stored when not in used. The machine is offered with its Harley-Davidson documents pouch, owner's manual, service booklet, sundry invoices, some expired MoTs, a V5C document and assorted other paperwork.
