2019 Ariel 1,237cc Ace
Registration no. AR13 LVR
Frame no. SA9AACH4PGC337131
Engine no. SC63E-5103095

• 'Ace of Diamonds' model
• 703 miles from new
• Last run in 2025

Based in Somerset, England, Ariel is responsible for one of the most exciting sports cars of recent years: the Honda-powered Atom, which is said to have so impressed the Japanese manufacturer that they sanctioned use of their VFR1200 engine in the Ace motorcycle. Launched in 2014, the Ace looked like it had arrived from another planet, featuring a jaw-dropping, bridge-like, milled aluminium frame arcing over and around the V4 engine. Another striking departure from the norm was the aluminium girder-type fork, although a conventional Öhlins USD fork was available as an option, as on this example. The steering head angle is adjustable and there is a single-sided swinging arm with Öhlins shock absorber at the rear. Despite the fact that the motor now uses a closed airbox and Ariel's own fuelling set-up and exhaust system, the claimed maximum power is 173bhp, same as in the stock VFR1200 tourer. All Aces are hand built to individual customer order and no two leave the factory with an identical specification.

Currently displaying a total of 703 miles on the odometer (at the time of cataloguing), this absolutely stunning 'Ace of Diamonds' model was purchased by the vendor from Moto Corsa Motorcycles Ltd on 26th February 2020 (sales invoice on file) and was last run in 2025. Offered with HPI report, V5C document and an expired MoT (17th December 2024).
