1954 Triumph 649cc 6T Thunderbird
Registration no. see text
Frame no. 62929 R
Engine no. 6T C 62929 R

• Matching frame and engine numbers
• 11,536 miles to the odometer
• Believed repainted at some point

Dating from 1954, this sprung-hub Thunderbird is one of the last built before Triumph introduced their swinging-arm models for 1955. Believed to have been repainted at some point, with matching frame and engine numbers and retaining the correct switch gear and dual seat/cover. Running earlier this year, the machine currently displays a total of 11,536 miles on the odometer (at the time of cataloguing/photography) and has been dry stored when not in use.

The current vendor acquired the machine in 2017 from Black & White Cars of Dorset and exported it to Guernsey, Channel Islands (purchase invoice on file). This Thunderbird also comes with a Guernsey Registration Certificate for '14956' and copy of its old V5C registration document for 'TSV 728'. It should be noted that Vehicle Registration Number 'TSV 728' is associated with a 2017 'Export' marker in the HPI/DVLA database. Accordingly, prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves with regard to the validity and status of this motorcycle's registration prior to bidding. The successful purchaser is responsible for applying to the DVLA to retrieve the vehicle's registration number. Additional documents on file include a quantity of invoices and some expired tax discs.
