2012 Jaguar XK

Chassis no. SAJAA43F9CLB44985
• Handsome Ian Callum-designed coupé
• 5.0-litre V8 with updated ZF automatic transmission
• Italian Racing Red
• Biscuit leather with burr walnut
• Facelift model with rotary gear selector
Jaguar's grand touring coupés have developed a dedicated following for their unique blend of old-world traditions and modern technology, and the 2006 introduction of the Ian Callum designed XK brought the concept thoroughly into the new millennium. The elegant design paid subtle homage to the 1961 E-Type while carefully avoiding pastiche, and introduced the advanced bonded and riveted aluminium chassis technology that debuted in the X350 XJ luxury saloon. Coupé and convertible body styles were offered, with a V8 engine and automatic transmission the only option – naturally aspirated in the XK and supercharged in the high-performance XKR. A 2009 facelift brought a new 5.0-litre V8 and improved ZF automatic transmission, an updated interior with rotary gear selector, and new front and rear facias. 2012's XKR-S topped 300 km/h for the first time, the same year in which the sportier F-Type made its debut. The two coupés were both available until 2014, when the final XK was built.
This 2012 XK is finished in Italian Racing Red over biscuit leather, with burr walnut trim. Being an update model it benefits from the improved engine and gearbox of the later cars, and Jaguar's popular rotary gear selector. The vendor purchased this XK one year ago in Germany, and it currently wears Luxembourgish registration. The XK was recently serviced in April 2024.
