U.S. American Legion soap box

Blue and yellow-painted metal soap box, fitted with official Soap Box Derby tyres. White seat with cowskin-lined interior. Handmade steering wheel. Front-wheel drive. Sponsored by the American veterans association, the "U.S. American legion Post 3, Lincoln Nebraska".
This soap box took part in the first All American Soap Box Derby Championship Wheels in 1971 under no. 259.
