Post-WW2, Gilera's foremost roadster was the Saturno, its passing in 1959 marking the end of the line for one of Italy's truly great classic motorcycles. This interesting Saturno features a non-standard cradle frame, different swinging-arm rear suspension, a Ceriani-type front fork, and a front brake larger than any fitted to a regular Saturno.

As with all Lots in the Sale, this Lot is sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.

Après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la principale moto de tourisme de Gilera était la Saturno, dont l'arrêt en 1959 marqua la fin de l'un des grands classiques de la moto italienne. Cette intéressante Saturno présente un cadre à berceau non standard, une suspension arrière à bras oscillant spécifique, une fourche avant de type Ceriani et un frein avant plus gros que tout ce qui se montait sur les Saturno normales.

De même que tous les lots de cette vente, ce lot est vendu "en l'état et à l'endroit où il se trouve" et les enchérisseurs doivent en vérifier la provenance, l'état, l'âge, la complétude et l'authenticité avant d'enchérir.
