Alongside its famous multi-cylinder racers and roadsters, Benelli has always produced less exotic fare such as the Leoncino lightweight, a model that won its class in the inaugural Moto Giro d'Italia in 1953. The Leoncino was built in various configurations, both two-stroke and four-stroke, that offered here being an example of the former.

As with all Lots in the Sale, this Lot is sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.

En parallèle de ses célèbres motos multicylindres de course et de tourisme, Benelli en a toujours produit de moins exotiques, telle la légère Leoncino, un modèle qui triompha dans sa catégorie lors du premier Moto Giro d'Italie, en 1953. La Leoncino existait en différentes versions, à deux ou quatre temps ; celle qui est proposée ici est de ce dernier type.
