The Junior Sportster motorcycle was a new introduction for 1959 and made use of the existing twin-carburettor engine, which was equipped with plated alloy cylinders. It could be ordered with a race kit (larger carburettors, 11.5:1 compression ratio, and a competition exhaust) which raised the top speed from in excess of 70 to more than 80mph. Offered with ASI papers, which do not list frame or engine number.

As with all Lots in the Sale, this Lot is sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.

La moto Junior Sportster, une nouveauté présentée en 1959, utilisait le moteur à deux carburateurs existant, équipé de cylindres à revêtement alliage. On pouvait le commander avec le kit course (plus gros carburateurs, taux de compression de 11,5 et échappement compétition) qui faisait passer la vitesse maximale de plus de 110 km/h à près de 130 km/h. Cette moto est proposée avec ses documents de l'ASI, qui ne mentionnent pas de numéro de cadre ou de moteur.

De même que tous les lots de cette vente, ce lot est vendu "en l'état et à l'endroit où il se trouve" et les enchérisseurs doivent en vérifier la provenance, l'état, l'âge, la complétude et l'authenticité avant d'enchérir.
