Ferrari boat - Arno XI – Speed record holder since 1953

Ferrari Arno XI hydroplane with three-point hull, very rare XXL model in large 1:3 scale.
Hand-crafted by a professional model maker. Highly detailed, constructed in wood, chromed metal and plastic. Driver's seat in red leather, windscreen, detailed dashboard. Propellor, rudder, side exhaust and chromed metal shaft. Varnished wooden deck with visible rivets. Rests on a cradle of the same dimensions.

History:
Identical model of the hydroplane, powered by a Formula 1 V12 Ferrari engine, that won the world speed record in its class in 1953, a record that remains to this day. It was raced by Nando Dell'Orto of the eponymous carburettor family. The boat comes with made to measure packaging to provide full protection during transportation.

Très détaillé, construit en bois, métal chromé, et plastique. Siège pilote en cuir rouge, pare-brise, tableau de bord détaillé. Hélice, safran, échappement latéral et arbre en métal chromé. Pont en bois vernis avec rivets apparents. Repose sur un ber à ses dimensions.

Historique:
Maquette à l'identique de l'hydroplane motorisé par un V12 Ferrari de Formule 1, détenteur du record du monde de vitesse de sa catégorie en 1953, record invaincu à ce jour.
Il était alors piloté par Nando Dell'Orto de la famille des carburateurs éponymes.
Le bateau est livré dans un emballage a ses mesures le protégeant parfaitement pour tout transport.
