As readily recognisable as the immortal 'Beetle' itself, the Volkswagen Type 2 and its derivatives enjoyed an even longer period in production than their saloon progenitor. A desirable 'split-screen' model finished in classic blue and white, this German-built Volkswagen bus started its life in the hills of San Francisco, USA where it stayed until the early 2010s. On the windscreen there are still 4 stickers visible granting university parking access in the 1980s. The VW then came to Europe, where it has been extensively restored (body, engine, etc). Unfortunately, there is no record of the restoration with the vehicle, which is described by our vendor as in excellent condition. Accompanying documentation consists of a 2015 purchase receipt and Luxembourg registration documents.

Aussi immédiatement identifiables que l'immortelle Coccinelle elle-même, les Volkswagen Type 2 et leurs dérivés furent produits encore plus longtemps que la berline dont ils étaient issus. Ce minibus construit en Allemagne, un séduisant modèle à parebrise fractionné arborant la classique harmonie de teintes bleu et blanc, commença sa vie dans les collines de San Francisco où il demeura jusqu'au début des années 2010. Son parebrise arbore encore quatre vignettes d'accès à un parking universitaire datant des années 1980. Puis il est venu en Europe, où il a été totalement rénové (carrosserie, moteur, etc.). Il n'existe malheureusement pas d'archives de ces travaux, mais son vendeur le décrit comme étant en excellent état. Il est proposé muni d'un reçu d'achat de 2015 et de documents d'immatriculation luxembourgeois.
