As part of its 70th anniversary celebrations, Porsche presented a Type 991.2 Speedster concept at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. Unveiled at the New York Auto Show in April 2019, the production Speedster is historically significant as the final model of the 991 family. Referencing the year of Porsche's establishment as a motor manufacturer, only 1,948 were made. Needless to say, Porsche had no trouble selling every single one. The last car off the Zuffenhausen production line was auctioned for charity in April 2020.
Number 525 of the 1,948 produced, this rare Type 991.2 Speedster was delivered new in Berlin, Germany in November 2019 and has covered a mere 1,800 kilometres from new. Specified in Racing Yellow with black leather interior, the car is equipped with the Sport Chrono Pack; lift system; Bose surround-sound hi-fi system; Porsche Dynamic Light System; and countless other options (see accompanying build sheet). The last service was carried out by Porsche in February 2024.

Lors du Salon de Paris 2018, Porsche présenta dans le cadre des festivités liées à son 70e anniversaire un concept de Type 991.2 Speedster. Le Speedster de série, dévoilé au Salon de New York d'avril 2019, est le dernier modèle de la famille 991, ce qui lui confère un caractère historique particulier. Par référence à l'année qui vit Porsche devenir un constructeur automobile, il n'y eut que 1 948 Speedster produits. Il est inutile de préciser que Porsche n'eut aucun mal à tous les écouler. La dernière voiture sortie de la ligne de production de Zuffenhausen fut vendue aux enchères en avril 2020 au profit d'une œuvre caritative.
Cette rare Type 991.2 Speedster, la 525e des 1 948 produites, fut livrée neuve en novembre 2019 en Allemagne, à Berlin ; elle a tout juste parcouru 1 800 km depuis l'origine. De couleur jaune Racing Yellow sur intérieur en cuir noir, elle est équipée du pack Sport Chrono, du système de soulèvement, d'une hi-fi Bose surround-sound, du Porsche Dynamic Light System et d'innombrables autres options (Cf. le dossier de montage qui l'accompagne). Son dernier entretien a été effectué par Porsche en février 2024.
