First seen at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was acknowledged as a tribute to the legendary 300 SL 'Gullwing' coupé of the 1950s. A collectors' item from day one, the newcomer featured 'Gullwing' doors like its illustrious predecessor and succeeded the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren at the top of the range. Boasting a chassis/body of mainly aluminium construction, the SLS (Sport Leicht Super) was powered by a 6.2-litre V8 engine producing 563bhp initially, making it the most powerful normally aspirated production car engine of its day, while the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission was similarly state-of-the-art.

Built to Middle East specification, this example was delivered new in Germany and has been with the current and second owner in Switzerland since 2015. Showing under 23,500 kilometres on the odometer, the car was serviced by Mercedes-Benz Automobil AG, Zweigniederlassung Zürich-Nord in July 2023 and March 2020, while the last technical inspection (MFK) was carried out in June 2023. Offered with wallet, books, service invoices, MFK, and a Swiss carte grise.
