In little more than two decades, KTM has gone from being a niche maker of highly successful moto-cross and enduro machines to Europe's largest motorcycle manufacturer. Perhaps not surprisingly given its off-road heritage, the Austrian brand first made an impact in the 'Big Trailie' or 'Adventure' market, kicking off with single-cylinder models in the early/mid-1990s before introducing its first twin-cylinder model in 2003.

Made available to 'The Great and the Good', we're advised by the vendor that this KTM 450 attended most of the UK and World Super Moto rounds where it was ridden by Terry Rymer, James Haydon, Gino Rea and even MCN. The machine was tuned and prepared by HM Racing and run by team managers Bracken Motorcycle Workshop Ltd. Notable features include KB Racing suspension, a full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system, and 'Gino Rea' stickers. Stored unused for many years, the machine will require recommissioning or possibly more extensive restoration before returning to the road and thus is sold strictly as viewed.
