Completed on 31st October 1984, this Carrera '3.2' was delivered new through Ian Anthony Sales and first registered on 29th November '84 (Porsche Certificate of Authenticity on file). The car was finished in black with matching leatherette upholstery featuring leather inlays. Optional equipment consisted of recoil bumpers; electric/heated passenger door mirror; forged alloy wheels in Grand Prix White; sports seats with electric height adjustment; rear wiper; spoilers; sports shock absorbers; and a sunroof.

The V5C confirms two former keepers, with the car passing into its current (third) owner on 23rd March 1986 at 9,000 miles. Included in the file is the advertisement from The Times newspaper stating that there were nine months Porsche Warranty remaining. There is also an old-style V5C confirming the change of ownership to our vendor.

A safety check was carried out by Ian Anthony Sales at 1,225 miles, while Charles Follett Limited carried out the second service for second owner Mr Hyde on 25th September 1985 at 6,388 miles (invoice on file). There are various MoTs and service invoices for the period up to 2000 when the Porsche was serviced by AFN at 82,224 miles. AFN had installed an immobiliser in 1995.

The vendor had a residence in Monaco, and by 2001 the car had been serviced in France by Garage Caruso & Fils at 83,950miles and issued with a Contrôle Technique. In 2004 the 911 was serviced by Porsche Centre Guildford at 87,028miles. Later that year there is correspondence between the vendor, Jeff Moyes, and Sportwagon concerning areas of the bodywork requiring attention. There are further service records on file for the period up to 2012 at 97,619 miles.

In 2014 the Porsche was delivered to David Newton Sandydown Bodyworks Ltd for some paintwork. By 2015, the car had covered 101,333 miles, and later that year returned to Porsche Guildford for a service at 102,305 miles. It appears the 911 went into storage in May 2016. In 2017 Porsche Guildford carried out a service at 103,833 miles, and again in 2019 at 104,442 miles. In 2019 the car returned to David Newton Sandydown Bodyworks Ltd for further attention (bill on file). The last service by Porsche Guildford was carried out in 2021 at 105,496, with a further service undertaken by Charles Ivey in 2023 (106,750 miles). The current MoT expired on 10th May 2024. The mileage at the time of cataloguing was 106,819.
