THE CAR OFFERED
The Camaro may have arrived two years late to the party started by the Ford Mustang, but it undoubtedly made one heck of an entrance. Endearing GM fanatics everywhere with its coke-bottle styling and range of powerful V8 engines, the Camaro turned up the fire on the Ford as soon as it hit the streets.
This 1967 Camaro offered from the Golden State Muscle Car Collection is an attractive example from the first year for Chevrolet's pony car and features the superb SS 396 'big block' stuffed between the fender wells. Previously an Arizona car before joining the Collection in 2005, it is a very well detailed car, with authentic details abounding. Additionally, it has the desirable 4-speed manual, and the top goes down so you can experience all of those horses with the wind in your hair. Finished in an the appropriately vivid shade of Bolero Red with white stripes, this car is adorned with the original SS badging, Rallye Wheels, white deco stripes, and front/rear spoilers.
This car came very well equipped from the factory, with Rallye Sport package, Custom interior option in black vinyl with white accents, bucket seats, center console, Delco radio, Rallye gauges, and power brakes. The 396 is rated for 350 horsepower (likely a conservative number), which is more than handy when it comes to pushing the relatively lightweight Camaro down the street or drag strip. The big 396 is well detailed in the engine bay, with an honest and authentic feel.
Now ready for its new custodian, this desirable big block Camaro SS is an excellent, honest example of Chevrolet's definitive, legendary pony car.
