THE CAR OFFERED
Exceptionally rare, this striking Coronet R/T 440 offered from the Golden State Muscle Car Collection is one of just sixteen built to this spec, according to marque historian Galen Govier. This car has been beautifully restored to its original condition per the accompanying broadcast sheet, which has been decoded by Mr. Govier and included in the Chrysler Registry. Acquired by the Golden State Muscle Car Collection in 2005, this Coronet R/T is finished in the attractive shade of Dark Tan Metallic over a black vinyl interior and black top – which would look particularly gorgeous against a Southwestern desert backdrop. Aside from the powerful 440 4-barrel Magnum engine and desirable manual gearbox, it is also equipped with the Super Track Pak, Ramcharger Hood, and power brakes.
The interior features deluxe vinyl bucket seats, a pistol-grip shifter, and AM radio with optional 8-track stereo player. Accompanying documentation includes a copy of the broadcast sheet, Galen Govier's decoding papers, and previous ownership records.
A highly optioned example of the rarely seen Coronet R/T, this handsome metallic tan Dodge is undoubtedly a standout in this already impressive collection.
