We are advised the 250cc Mondial offered here is a works prototype built in 1957 for the 1958 season by Nerio Biavati (formerly chief mechanic at Mondial) and Dino Gilli. The only one of its kind made, it features a bialbero (twin-cam) 4-valve cylinder head with gear-driven cams, designed by Biavati. This restored machine was formerly part of the Enrico Bernardi Museum collection. No documents.

As with all Lots in the Sale, this Lot is sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.

On nous a informés que la Mondial 250 cm3 proposée ici est un prototype d'usine construit en 1957, pour la saison 1958, par Nerio Biavati (ancien chef mécanicien de Mondial) et Dino Gilli. Seul exemplaire fabriqué, elle est équipée d'une culasse à 4 soupapes et deux arbre à cames (bialbero) entraînés par engrenages, dessinée par Biavati. Cette moto restaurée a autrefois fait partie de la collection du Musée Enrico Bernardi. Pas de documents.

De même que tous les lots de cette vente, ce lot est vendu 'en l'état et à l'endroit où il se trouve' et les enchérisseurs doivent en vérifier la provenance, l'état, l'âge, la complétude et l'authenticité avant d'enchérir.
