Saleroom notices

SALE ROOM NOTICE: Cataloguing correction. "A Dash to the Adriatic Stirling Moss' winning Vanwall is sandwiched between the Maserati 250Fs of Juan Manuel Fangio and Jean Behra as they charge through the village of Capelle during the 1957 Pescara Grand Prix. From here, they will drive flat out, downhill to the seafront where they will reach speeds of nearly 170mph. At more than 16 miles, Pescara, a real test of car and driver, remains the longest circuit ever to play host to a world championship Grand Prix." The 1957 Pescara Grand Prix was won by Stirling Moss in the Vanwall with a time of 2 Hours, 59 minutes and 22.7 seconds, with Juan Manuel Fangio and Harry Schell second and third in their Maseratis.
