• Only five owners in 26 years.
• Present ownership since 2014
• Offered from a significant private collection
• Serviced by Porsche in January 2022
• Circa 23,400 miles from new

First registered in the UK on 5th August 1996, this five-owner example has covered only some 23,400 miles from new and is presented in exceptional condition, benefiting from recent works by Porsche. A C16 model, the car comes with a printout from Porsche confirming that it was manufactured on 24th June 1996 and extensively optioned, the relevant product codes being specified.

The car was delivered new through Porsche Bournemouth, passing to its second owner sometime between delivery in 1996 and its third owner in 1997. In 1999 the Porsche passed to its fourth owner, a resident of Winchester, Hampshire, before being acquired by our vendor from a renowned London dealer in 2014 at a recorded mileage of 21,492. A mileage log has been kept during the present ownership, showing frequent but careful use including trips to Goodwood and the Le Mans Classic.

The 911 was subject to an inspection at Porsche prior to our vendor's purchase in 2014 (invoice on file). Subsequently the car was serviced by the vendor's local mechanics, who care for the bulk of his significant private collection, and Porsche independents until it was sent to Porsche Bournemouth, one of only a handful of approved Porsche Classic dealers in 2022 (bills on file). In January 2022 the car received a detailing by Parc Fermé and presents in excellent general condition. The vendor wanted the 911 to present as it did in 1996, and to meet the standards of a Porsche-approved car. Porsche carried out a service and replaced items that were not to factory specification, renewing four tyres to the correct Michelin Pilot Sports, carrying out a brake fluid change, renewing a few clips and a switch, fitting new wiper blades, and replacing the battery with a Porsche Bosch item. Porsche's bill for £3,941 was paid in January 2022 at an odometer reading of 23,128 miles. The current MoT expires in September 2023.

Offered in the stunning colour combination of L39C Midnight Blue Metallic over GZ Marble Grey, and complete with service book, spare key, and original master key fob, this example must be one of the lowest-mileage C16 models on the market today.

Saleroom notices

Interested parties should note that further to the catalogue description the car was serviced at Porsche again in January 2023. Works included renewing drive belts and the distributor, along with an engine oil and filter change.
