Doggy Dome by Alice Wilson

Alice wanted to create a shelter that could house both her greyhound and her whippet – dogs of similar shape that wildly differ in size. Using intersecting semicircles of different diameters and parabolic arches that span the circumference of the base, Alice has created a space that offers two roof heights over two distinct spaces, so that while two different dogs can huddle for warmth and comfort, neither will feel too cramped.

The sculptural plywood shelter is both sustainable and durable; the structural design focuses on a kit-of-parts approach that allows for flexibility to accommodate all dog breeds. A triumph of sensitive design that will surely make all hounds feel at home.

Size: Circular Base with a Diameter of 1500mm, Height 1400mm
Approximate weight 26kg.
