A complete Britool engineer's 1/2" square drive socket set, number 145B, 1966-1970,

workshop worn, described in the Britool catalogue as "...the most comprehensive 1/2" square drive set". It contains the entire range of accessories and all standard sockets in British, American, Metric and Square sizes." Contained in red steel case (exterior re-painted), including E42 speed brace, A56 Bar Handle ⅜" x 8", E67 ratchet unit, E74/40T ratchet handle, E91 universal joint, E96 3" extension, E98 12" extension, E14 turn-screw socket bit, E56 bar handle ½" x 12", E63 short 'T' adaptor, E70 offset handle, E79 swivel handle, E92 stud extractor, E97 6" extension, E99 18" extension, EDH820 14mm spark plug tool, ED1010 18mm spark plug tool: 51 bi-hexagon sockets comprising Whitworth, American, Metric types and 10 Bisquare sockets; together with extra tools comprising Britool E70 Offset Handle (x2), King Dick 6" extension, unmarked 8" bar handle, unmarked 12" bar handle (x2), three spare Britool sockets, many items in used condition, some items are later Britool replacements, close inspection advised, offered together with a Squire padlock and key, and a photocopy of the original Britool catalogue listing all the components of the set.

Buyers Premium and Charges
Like the vast majority of auctioneers Bonhams charge what is known as a Buyer's Premium. Buyer's Premium on all Automobilia lots will adhere to Bonhams group policy:
Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £20,000 of the hammer price;
26% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £20,000 up to and including £700,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £700,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
For Motor Cars and Motorcycles a 15% Buyer's Premium is payable on the first £50,000 of the final Hammer Price of each Lot, and 12% on any amount by which the Hammer Price exceeds £500,000. VAT at the standard rate is payable on the Premium by all Buyers, unless otherwise stated.
Some lots may be subject to VAT on the Hammer Price. These lots will be clearly marked with the relevant symbol printed beside the lot number in the catalogue.
