The Brawler GT is Dar Holdsworth and Darwin Motorcycles interpretation of what an all-American motorcycle used as a daily driver or spirited animal should look and feel like.
Using the Harley-Davidson FXR frame as a model, Holdworth developed and built a brand new frame to which he implemented the twin-cam, V-twin S&S T-124 EFI producing a monstruous 124 cubic inches – 2031cc producing a power and torque to which 'monstruous' might be a little too euphemistic. Aiming at a bike that could cruise as well as it could rip, the machine got equipped with a 6-speed Rivera Primo transmission giving power to the rear wheel through a robust chain, as well as lightweight BST carbon wheels, ISR calipers and EBC floating rotors. Ohlins was chosen as an evidence for both front and rear suspensions, and a custom made aluminum swing-arm was installed. Every metal pieces on the bike got hand-formed by the Cooper Smithing Co, and so is the seat for which a modern-technology foam was used to keep a thin look without sacrificing comfort.
The iconic Tim Allen could hardly find a better saddle that would take him 'To Infinity and Beyond', and the history says that he immediately realized that when he saw the bike for the first time with another icon at its handlebar - Usher, for which 'Nice & Slow' was probably not the most accurate looking at the machine. Evidently, Allen ordered his bike from Darwin Motorcycles. Following light use, he decided to donate it to a Museum for display. After recommissioning, the bike will be ready to bring joy and smile to the face of its new lucky rider.
