THE ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM

This new generation of Phantoms have been a huge success, being highly acclaimed by the motoring press, dealers, and, most importantly, the customers. Once again Rolls-Royce Motor Cars produced the pinnacle of luxury motoring. The current Phantom is the eighth generation of the Rolls-Royce Phantom, and the second launched by Rolls-Royce under BMW ownership. It is offered in two wheelbase lengths. The Phantom Extended Wheelbase (EWB) is 220 mm (8.7 in) longer than the standard wheelbase

The eighth generation Phantom was unveiled by live stream on the 27th of July 2017. It made its public debut at a special exhibition Rolls-Royce held in London two days later on 29 July. The event, dubbed "The Great Eight Phantoms", took place at Bonhams prestigious HQs in Mayfair. The exhibition gathered a noteworthy Phantom from each generation, from Fred Astaire's Phantom I to subsequent models driven by royalty, or made famous by celebrities, including John Lennon's Romany gypsy wagon-style painted Phantom V.

Phantom brings a modern dimension to luxury's most compelling legacy. The Phantom is not only the ultimate status symbol; it's the Holy Grail of handcrafted luxury automobiles.

THE MOTORCAR OFFERED

This exceedingly luxurious 2019 Rolls-Royce Phantom is elegantly finished in Graphite over a Seashell interior. The Extended Wheelbase adds an expansive elegance to the most iconic expression of the modern motor car. Much of the Extended Wheelbase is used as extended legroom in the rear seat which allows for a an even more luxurious experience. The spacious cabin is also accompanied by a myriad of luxuries such as deep-pile carpeted floor mats, power-adjustable seats with massage, a refrigerated console compartment, and remote controls for the car's infotainment system. With less than 4,000 miles from new, this Phantom displays in excellent condition. A Clean CarFax on file shows that this Phantom has been routinely serviced and detailed since new.

The refusal of any required Import License or Importer Statement, or any delay in obtaining such License or Statement shall not give rise to the rescission or cancelation of any Sale, nor allow any delay in making full payment for the Lot.
Buyers' Premium and Charges
Like the vast majority of auctioneers Bonhams charge a Buyer's Premium on the Hammer Price of each Lot purchased and this is subject to VAT. Some lots may also be subject to VAT on the Hammer Price and these lots will be clearly marked with a symbol (†, Ω, *) printed beside the lot number.
For Automobilia the Buyer's Premium is 28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price; 27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,001 up to and including £800,000; 21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,001 up to and including £4,500,000 and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,001.
For Motor Cars and Vehicle Registration Numbers the Buyer's Premium will be 15% on the first £500,000 of the hammer price of each Lot, and 12% on the balance thereafter.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% + VAT of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the standard rate is payable on the Buyers Premium by all Buyers, unless otherwise stated.
Payment Notices
Payment for MOTORCAR purchases may be made in or by (a) cashier's check or money order, (b) personal check with approved credit drawn on a U.S. bank, (c) wire transfer or other immediate bank transfer. Please note that cash and credit card payments are not accepted for MOTORCAR lots.
