Introduced in October 1967, the MV 250cc 2 Cilindri was MV's second production twin-cylinder roadster, the first being the short-lived 166cc Arno GT of 1964/1965. The 2 Cilindri '250' was all new and showed clear signs of Japanese influence in its styling. Of unitary construction, the engine was a compact, twin-cylinder overhead-valve unit breathing through twin Dell'Orto carburettors and featuring gear primary drive to a five-speed transmission. Claimed maximum power was 18bhp and the top speed in excess of 80mph. In addition to the usual roadster models, the 2 Cilindri was also available as a street scrambler. An improved and slightly more powerful 250B version followed in January 1969 and in this form the 2 Cilindri carried on until 1971.

This 250B had already been restored when Hans purchased it in 2006. Only 0.8 'push' kilometres have been covered since restoration and the machine is presented in outstanding condition. The indicators (a German safety requirement) are quite in keeping with the machine, which also has a German-type silencer. Accompanying documentation consists of a German Fahrzeugschein and an expired TüV (MoT) certificate and correspondence.
