Footnotes

Founded by Harry Stutz in 1911, Stutz Motor Company was an American luxury car manufacturer that was very popular with upper class Americans in the early 20th century. In 1926 the Stutz AA Straight-8 was introduced and was offered in multiple body styles, including a four or five-passenger Speedster, four-passenger coupe, sedan, or rumble seat coupe. Powering the AA was a SOHC inline eight-cylinder engine developing 95bhp that was mated to a three-speed manual gearbox, and the suspension comprised of a solid front and a live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs. Coachbuilt by Bowman & Schwartz between 1926 and 1927, this example was originally based in New Brunswick, Canada before it was imported to the UK in 1991. It has passed through multiple owners since its time on our shores, and it has a good history file to verify its past. Overall the car is described as in good condition and was previously restored by Keith Hill Restorations, however it may require recommissioning due to lack of use in recent years.
