Footnotes

The European equivalent to the Ford Mustang, the Ford Capri is a British icon that was an instant hit when it arrived in 1968. Spanning three generations, this example is a 1981 MKIII model that is powered by the renowned 3.0-litre Essex V6. With only 83,970 miles from new, the car has a low mileage as it has been stored for the last 10 years. The mileage is believed to be genuine as the odometer read 71,960 miles in 2005. The V6 engine is said to be running and driving well, and the vendor has had new front coil springs and Koni Sport rear dampers fitted. There are multiple old MOTs and invoices also included in the history file (and the car has an MOT expiry in June 2022).
