Footnotes
The Jaguar E-Type is one of the company's most well-known cars, and was famously labelled by Enzo Ferrari as "one of the most beautiful cars ever made". Production of the E-Type spanned 14 years from 1961 to 1975 in Series I, Series II and Series III format. This example is 1970 Series II car that is configured in Coupe 2+2 format, and is a well looked after example. It is documented that the first owner had it from new until 1991, where the second owner then purchased it and owned it until 2006 (both in Wales). In 2007 the car went straight to well-known and reputable Scottish Jaguar restorer John McAleese, who gave the car an extensive restoration. This included a body restoration (with respray), engine rebuild, new bonnet assembly, and new chrome with new wire wheels. Today the car is sitting at just over 90,000 miles and we are advised is running and driving well. The restoration was completed in 2009, and it's been well looked after and maintained up until 2017, but since then the car has been unused. The red paintwork and leather interior are in excellent condition. There a lot of documentation with the car including its V5 registration document.
